Looks like an ASX listed regional airline and the King Island Council are having a few little issues.

google ""rex airlines king island"
There''s a story 20 hours ago in "The Mercury newspaper", or a full story in www.the advocate.com.au (06 july).
I'd say the topic is in relation to a proposed 19% increase in landing fee charges.

Do you happen to have any links to share or are we doing the cryptic crossword today?
Seriously Yournamehere?
Try Google to work it out......here's a clue https://www.theadvocate.com.au/story/5512481/airlines-threaten-to-cut-flights-increase-prices-to-king-island/

Pretty astonishing cognitive disconnect of the councillor quoted in the article. The council raises rates by a few hundred per turn, Rex passes on the charges to customers and gets accused of bullying.
King Island should realise that its airport need not operate at a profit since it is an essential piece of infrastructure. A good airport is like a good freeway/railroad/harbour: .costly until you see what happens without it.
Having a “user pays” scheme on an island where everyone is a user. Genius.
The council would do better to direct its formidable brain power to bringing King Island cream back from extinction.

Simple refuse to carry the councillors on any flight. They just have to say they are a danger to air safety. After all CASA and the minister would have to agree.

lack of crew ? Never let a crisis go to waste ? So while you don’t have pilots to fly your A/C start a fight with local councils over rising landing fees and tell them it’s too expensive to operate .

There are times when I get the distinct impression that one of the requirements for election to any form of Government; Local, State or Federal, is the total lack of a commonsense gene!:hmm::*
