I know of at least three. What a helpful and informative response. I bet you felt 10 foot tall and giggled like a schoolgirl as you typed that.

This is the kind of rubbish that reflects PPRuNe has fewer true professionals actually posting these days.

Have a look at: VESTIS ? Conseil en vêtements professionnels Transport » VESTIS ? Conseil en vêtements professionnels (http://www.esthis.fr/portfolio/transport.html)
French tailor, have two sets from them and find them quite good.
Uniforms are tailored accoring to personal measures and shipped worldwide.

I take your point, as captious as it was, but there gets a point where the frustration of seeing supposed professional pilots insult or deride their global colleagues leads to such a post.

I acknowledge I let this frustration get the better of me and I posted in a similar manner, instead of assisting or adding something of value to the conversation - point taken.

Depending on where you are and how many you’re after you could try Raymond (Winston Co Tailors) in HK.

If you really want to go top end try Ginza Tailor in Tokyo. You would need to do several fittings and confirm they will do ‘uniforms’.

I don't know what you are looking to source, but my pilots like their trousers and shirts from:

https://acutaboveuniforms.com

Based in the US, and seem to be very good quality.

as far as I can see, https://www.runway27.com/ sells the same shirts and tailor-options like the above shop, just from the UK (if EU is where you are at)

Ah ok... Thanks! They aways seem to get them delivered to an FBO in the US, but the Euro pilots that will be very helpful!

I am curios as to what you have gotten from them for your uniform?

Have you gone down the custom made route with them and had an actual pilots uniform made by them? Or is it just a suit without any pilot markings?

If the former, did you have to contact them off-line/in store and discuss what you wanted and if they could do it?

Thanks :)

What I do.

Go to a shop selling nice suits. Buy a couple of the same one. Get rings fitted to it and I have the best looking, fitted uniform for a fraction of the cost.

One advice though. The suit you chose should have no sleeves button (it shifts the rings to an odd place ).

Then I buy a tie(s) matching the uniform. Looking great, original and style wise, better than most uniform.

PS: I am a contractor and attach a lot of importance on how tidy (professional ) I look. Yet I m certain it costs less than a standard uniform.

Another vote for a Cut Above shirts. I tend to buy direct from the US and have them sent to Europe.

https://www.wearskypro.com/en/index.php?controller=static-file&page=uniform-projects or if you're UK based Brook Tavener do corporate wear. Corporate clothing and fashionable business (http://www.brooktaverner.com/corporate_clothing_fashionable)

If you want it made to measure I know tailorstore.com offer some good quality services for a decent price. On their website you can design the uniform as well. Ordered my uniform from them and am very satisfied with the result

Another vote for "A Cut Above" uniforms. Best shirts I have ever had. There also seems to be a company called "Runway27" in the UK (possibly connected to A cut Above?) that sell identical products and are also available via Amazon.co.uk.
