I have had an anguished telephone plea from Rosevidney1 , who after allowing a house guest (who I assume is also a PPRuNe member) to log in on here on his computer is now unable to get back into the site. He has tried entering his password etc but the system is failing to recognise him and he is locked out. Would it be possible for a moderator to contact him by email and help him sort out his problem. Thanks a lot.

I suspect his machine has automatically saved his guests login details and over written the saved login & password

he should be able to search his browser for SAVED logins or Saved passwords and delete or edit the PPrune login - Google is his friend!

Sounds right.

Thank you. I'll pass that on but Im pretty sure he has attempted that but to no avail. Also he found an email address to contact PPRuNe mods and fired off his request but the email has bounced back undelivered so he is back to square one. If a moderator could contact me by PM I can supply his email address so that they can contact him. A bit of a faff I know, but at the moment we are missing a long standing member which is a shame.

Crikey!
I wish I'd thought of that!
