Slightly off topic and I searched this forum. Are there still A/C parked at DWC or all back in the air?

Most are back in service, but not all.
There are still 3x B777 and 1x A380 parked at DWC.

Not likely, this is Emirates after all. With the amount of pilots retiring or more to the point escaping its a perfect scenario of a drawdown. At least that is what Management will say it is.

It's only a 45 day runway closure this time.
Yet many more cancellations than 4 years ago which was a 2 months + 20 days closure

Happy Easter 2019

A lot of those flights are always full!

Goodbye profit share!

Lets be positive.

Well I can certainly vouch for the fact that many of those flights are indeed quite full. Profitability is another story but I feel this is more a reduction across the board than yield based, surprisingly enough.

Bear in mind that Ramadan should start around the first week of May next year, so it looks like there will be some degree of overlap.

Should the runway works be delayed by just a few days, then the impact could be disastrous on the rush at Eid!

it's more likely because of PILOTS SHORTAGE !!

What you talking about. We don't have a pilot shortage. We are a well run airline.

It certainly will be more a manipulation of the flying hours so the highest timers will have the most days off..... Expect still to see maximum for the year

Worst still is as stated how to leave and get R&R?

Must submit ALT request early.....

Would anyone come up with an estimate of capacity reduction across the line? I'd say 25%?
