NO Surprise to see some of the biggest ones up there, and that they're all Long haul (bar MEL/SYD)

LHR-JFK over $1b and representing 6% of all revenue, not bad at all, though it's almost like a bus service the amount of rotations they offer.

Our last few long haul trips, all in business, have been via a European hub. We've saved 30-50% cp LHR including positioning via lhr or eurostar.

Only a mug pays those prices....

In my understanding, lucrative would mean profitable, but I assume that these data refer only to revenue? Of course commercial confidentiality, and flexible allocation of costs, will mean identifying the most profitable routes is impossible.

It's not like a bus service at all. In order to get a fare that is anywhere reasonable you have to choose just one of the many departures to book it. Trying to transfer to the next (or previous) one can lead to an extra charge well beyond the original fare. Not the way a bus service works.
