So I'm trying to find out details on working for Jetstar Asia, and as I'm sure you can imagine the official channels are not exactly infused with useful info, apart from the standard 'we're brilliant' statement. The contract I'm interested in is Direct Entry FO, and I would be coming in as a 'foreign' FO as I'm from the UK.

Pay? Pensions and share-schemes? Staff Travel? Monthly hours? Nightstop frequency? And just what they are like as a company to deal with? i.e. on the See You Next Tuesday scale (All Airlines are somewhere on this scale...) are they at the lower or the higher end? Also if anyone happens to know how many years of company service they require before SFO upgrade, and the subsequent pay increase, that would also be useful.

I have heard horror stories about some of Jetstar's subsidiaries, namely Jetstar Pacific, operating on a a Ryanair style contract pilot basis - I trust Jetstar Asia is a permanent contract?

Thanks, and I hope there are some knowledgeable people out there who can help.
