Hello guys
my first post here
just wanna know some info regarding air new zealand or working in New zealand
i am right now working as a Captain on b737ng and wanna shift to New zealand .
what about jobs there
is there any way of direct induction on 737 fleet on Air new zeland
or else how to got about it

You can go straight on to the A320 fleet at the moment. No B737s anymore, as mentioned above. You will need the right to live and work in New Zealand. Air NZ aren’t doing any sponsoring. You also need an NZ CAA license.

i am already in a process for PR but was not sure about the avalability of jobs thr and how easy or difficult to get thm .
also if u guys cn throw some light on the rosters or patterns on 320 fleet

There is numerous hard working kiwi pilots doing the hard yards trying to get in to the national carrier. I wish you the best of luck with your permanent residency. However keep in mind that once you relinquish your command status and move to a new country and join a new airline, (assuming you get a job there) you start right down the bottom. No body will care that you used to be a 737 captain. In fact that may go against you when your resume is considered. So think it through. New Zealand is a wonderful place to live but you might have to bury your airline career.

Pilots with seniority in the 700's (ish) are coming up for Commands around the 5-6 year mark. Mostly due to expansion and a large increase in manpower requirements on the A320... there's also been a relatively large amount of more senior A320 Captains leaving the fleet for Longhual. I highly doubt anyone joining today will see the LHS in the same amount of time, but I could be wrong.

Do 'shift' to NZ by all means but your seniority resets to 0 as soon as you come here, sorry.

I applied for ATR typerated first officer and a few weeks ago I did a digital interview, and today I received an email from the company requesting a new interview via Skype.
Im from Brazil and I have 1100 TT (750 AT72).

Assuming you’re a Jetstar FO already in NZ, just ask the skippers you fly with, they all know the info pretty well from all the FO’s that have gone before you. One skipper in Auckland even runs sim sessions from his house, not sure on the quality of the ‘sim’ but several FO’s have used it before their interviews.

No,I’m not coming over from Jetstar.currently I’m flying in Asia on 320 and want to try my luck with air Nz.
what I want to know is more about 2 days interview.
