Is there any good study guides explaining how to fly by IFR in EU? I have Doc 8168 (pans-ops) and instrument procedures handbook (faa). The latter is really good, but it relies on the U.S. stuff (TERPS and FARs).

On PPL/IR you should find BCFT IR Handbook which is very good. Also, this website has nice tips and tricks for IFR flying: Introduction - Tony Pool - Flight Training (http://www.tonypool.com)

Never Get Lost is also a nice book.
