RAF Group Captain Harry Drew 80 this year

Some of you might know or remember Harry Drew who is celebrating his 80th birthday this year. His family are trying to put together a scrap book of his career as a present and I have been assured he doesn't read this forum. Amongst a varied career Harry was stationed in Singapore during the Borneo War, was squadron leader at 11 squadron (lightnings), 43 squadron (phantoms) and station commander in the Falklands after the conflict. He also had a secondment to America in the late 1960s that some of you might know about.

I'm sorry - it's just not possible that Harry Drew is 80 this year! I seem to recall his 43rd birthday when he was OC 43 Sqn, and that can't be 37 years ago? :confused:
