For some months now at Northolt the handlers (Jet Centre aka 'London City' have been demanding payment on arrival, even from long standing clients who have had good credit records with them for years.
A refueller (as we know, the fount of all knowledge at an airfield) once told me that the first sign of an operator going under was when their line(s) of credit were cancelled. I can't believe that ALL operators using Northolt are having money worries. Maybe Northolt Jet Centre themselves are feeling the pinch?
