It is fascinating to see how Corporates open themselves to criticism, often through sheer lack of common sense. It would be fascinating to understand the attitude and atmosphere that mgmt exerted over previous months and years, to lead a supervisor to behave in this way.
American did the right thing to disarm the problem rapidly. But, if there is no change behind the scenes, then it's only a matter of time before the next bad headline.
