49224921Well done to that man who took off before me from Perth this morning making for Fife, finding the only wee grazing field on tiny Mugdrum Island in the Tay to make a dead stick landing. Hope it’s long enough and you can get the deer to f$&k out the way to get it back out. Again, excellent bit of flying there sir, I salute you.

Crop should be low this time of year, but how firm is the ground?

I remember another aircraft that landed short of an airport because of fuel concerns. It failed to clear the fence on the subsequent takeoff attempt.

This is a good time to talk to the farmer.

Hi

A Friend at the local club was discussing the the situation and asked, how did the the pilot get off the island, boat or swim? I suggested that he probabley walked across after that landing - respect!
