Hi
When I was in Spain last week I saw a CASA, C-101 Aviojet mountd and a Plinth in the middle of a traffic island.
As I was concentrating on the road driving on the other side of the road I failed to note where this ac was so does anybody know wher it is ?? I was in the Murcia area at the time.

There is just such a display on the N332 by the Centro Comercial Dos Mares at Santiago de la Ribera. The roundabout is just off Junction 777 of the AP7 Autopista del Mediterraneo. It is there in honour of the Academia General del Aire which is based there (Murcia San Javier airport was created from part of the military airfield).

Corvera Airport is scheduled to open at the end of this year (after many years of wrangling) so San Javier will revert back to a purely military airfield.
