After yet another cancelled negotiation day it looks like industrial action might finally be on the cards.

From NZALPA:
"Please continue to look out for, and read your NZALPA email updates, the Jetconnect NZALPA Council and Bargaining Team will shortly be sending you important information to consider, about industrial action."

That is a bit like asking why Basil Fawlty puts up with Manuel.

They are under paid , and have to look on whilst QF crews earning more than double reduce their flying !

They don’t earn half as much that’s for sure. It is roughly 30% less. But along with that they don’t get paid much in DTA or other allowances which put salt in the wound. This includes 4% superannuation only, lack of overtime when the company takes your last two sectors off you on the 30th day of the roster, the ****ty management and lack of moral amongst the place. The company has nothing but drive down the conditions of what we all would consider a professional workplace. Just talk to anyone there and ask them how much turnover of staff they have compared to their mother ship. It amazes me on the pilot rankes that they have had 100% turn over of FOS in 24 months. 🤦🏼*♀️
