A Navajo force landed on a Calgary street at 5:30 am this morning. No injuries to the pilot and five passengers*. Some wingtip damage due to clipping a light pole.

The timing was lucky. Two hours later, this street would have been choked with commuter traffic.
This is not what you expect to see when riding the train to work!

* I listened to the ATC audio. No emergency declared, but right fuel-pump failure mentioned. Male and female voices on the tape, so probably two crew and four passengers.
