Just watched this Russian movie on the first spacewalk by Alexei Leonov in 1965. Well worth a look for the storyline, aviation and space (albeit CGI) sequences.

If its as good as the Gagarin movie from 2013 was, it will be well worth buying a copy.

Good to hear this movie is watched abroad.
In Russian its original title could be word-by-word translated as "Time of the first ones".
Being always skeptical about such films on the topics and people I knew in my past, this particular one is not bad.
That mission indeed had an outstanding number of off-nominal situations and various problems (like Apollo-13 a few years later), each one could fatal. But all ended well.
