Hello,

I have an expired B737 rating which can still be renewed this year, as from next year it will be completly lost and I would have to do a new TR Course. I wonder do you keep your previous aircraft type alive on your licenses (EASA) ? Is it worth as an FO to renew it or is it a waste of money. I searched through the job ads and many airlines require last flight on type within 12 months, are there also airlines that don't require this ? I have my current A/C type on my EASA license (Although restricted by Registration).

Just trying to figure our if it's worth to renew it and if you have any advice where to do it :ok:

Shooting Star,

my personal opinion is ALWAY KEEP YOUR HOME LICENSES AND RATINGS VALID, especially if you are working in this sandpit where there is no stability ,believe me it'll not cost you as much few years later.
