Not sure if this is the spot, as I am only a bizjet guy, but the solicitation of my private email by these leeches has reached epic proportions, the abuse of the industry knows no bounds.
Mods, decide to delete or move at your discretion.

Hello,

How are you? I am writing you to inform that currently we have a great self-funded program that would help you to gain 500 hours on A320 type rating.

The airline is looking for a cadet pilot who would be fluent in Russian, holding EASA license and A320 TR. Do you meet the requirements? The airline is reputable and there is only one slot left, so I would encourage you to take this opportunity.

In case you do not meet the requirements but you are interested in getting TR as well as 500h, let me know and I will give you details of another offer. It would be great if you sent me your CV.

Waiting to hear from you and wishing you a lovely day!

Kind regards,

Project Coordinator

If you have a job (as a bizjet guy as you write) and are happy with it, just delete all your Xing and whatever else jobseeker accounts you have and these mails will stop coming to you. Just like every other spam.

Myself, I keep separate mail accounts. The real one which I only tell a few people who need to know it and which I will also use if I ever have to apply for a job again (not likely, fortunately) and several others for stuff that may attract spam.

And, yes, pay-to-fly schemes will stay with us now. Thanks to our first colleague (if you want to call him that) who accepted these conditions. If you want to name and shame, don't forget to include him in your list.

I'm more surprised that somebody in Vilnius is looking for someone fluent in Russian...
