Perhaps this mass disruption could have been handled more efficiently.

About the normal time for a runway closure for an incident of this nature, I think.

I wonder which airports took the diverted flights during this closure period?.

This evening they have just said on the NHK news that the accident report is expected to take about a year.

Only two hours? That was pretty good actually! Not formula 1 you know, there isn't a pit crew there on standby.....

I would bet that it took a good hour just to coordinate the stairs and buses to transfer the pax to the terminal.

The article is from today's news, in Japanese, but it reports the early results of the investigation. The Transportation Safety Committee has announced that the pin that secures the 'torque link' which controls movement of the nose undercarriage was later found on the runway.
They are investigating the twin possibilities of maintenance oversight, or a part fault.
The National Transportation Agency has ordered an inspection of 72 Airbuses with similar systems.
Any strangeness in the translation is my fault!
