Hi guys,

Does anybody know what airway by-pass is?

and where I can find its definition from?

"When an airway passes over or turns at a navaid or reporting point, but the navaid is not to be utilized for course guidance and/or no report is required, the airway centerline passes around the symbol."

If I'm not mistaking, it means that ROYAL wpt is not part of N886.

If you are referring to the little semicircle on the Airway line that goes around the ROYAL intersection, it just means that the airway depicted, N886, does not include the ROYAL intersection. I don't know what hte purpose of the ROYAL intersection, it may be part of an airway not depicted on that chart, it may be a fix on a SID or STAR, or it may be on another airway not depicted, but it's not a part of N886.
