For the following questions please use the attached relevant document from EASA

1. With regard to : ORO.FLT.205 , point (d) which has a title "Maximum daily FDP for acclimatized crew members with the use of extensions without in-flight rest" (page 2 of the document )
does this point (with all its 5 subsections) concern planned FDP extensions ?

2 .In page 4 , at the bottom under COMMANDER’S DISCRETION : I don't understand the statement , can someone elaborate on this ?

The limits in ORO.FTL.205(d) are scheduled limitations.
You must be scheduled in compliance with all 5 sections.
The maximum extension is 1:00 above the limits in ORO.FTL.205(b) Tables 2,3 or 4; as appropriate; and may mot be applied more than 2 times in any 7 calendar day period, and may not be used in conjunction with Augmented Operations or Split-Duty Operations.

Further Guidance is provided in CS FTL.1.205(b).

With respect to your second question, I am unable to open the attachments; perhaps you can cut and paste what is confusing or contact me off line.

Hey Guys,

Do you think an 11:40 long planned FDP (basic MFDP 12:00) can be rostered as a planned extension which allows 13 hours MFDP after all? I reviewed ORO.FTL.205 and havent found any specific objection on doing this, however I don't feel it'd be fair with the crew.
Thanks for the answers.
