Morning
Myself and another enthusiast just spotted 4 jets flying WSW flying overhead in South Shropshire @ 08.50 flying 4 abreast formation looked like fighters/ fighter bomber size. Anyone got an idea who they were? Nothing showed up on flightradar 24.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

Possibly CYLON 11, flight of 4 F-15s. See here. (http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=158399)

Given the location as Clevedon, it's surprising that Westlakejawa is not aware of the slang usage (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bristol%20cities). :)

Yes, saw them start maneuvering over Wales, then the trails ceased.

Regular F15 action using the East West corridor from East of England to either the Mach area or the Mil area in Mid Wales. Wolverhampton now gets action overhead most days. More and more groups of 4 usually with just one of each group communicating. They show up on the other tracking site usually with some sinister sounding callsigns.

The actual rhyming bit is often dropped - makes it more obscure.

Raspberry (as in rude noise) = raspberry tart = f*rt

Berk (as in foolish fellow) = Berkshire Hunt = ****

Or to be even more obscure, doubled-up.

eg "Oi mind me aris!"

Aris = aristotle = bottle

Bottle = bottle/glass = arse

Yes, they were still visible here when the trails disappeared.
Sounds like the F15s we saw.
