How many brilliant memory joggers have you come across to make the ATPLs less painfull.

I came out of an instruments exam wondering about a Pitot blockage question. When I tried to verify it with the bloke standing nex to me he said 'Oh thats easy PUDSOD'. Pitot (Blockage) Underead descent, Static Overead descent'. ASI questions became a doddle afer that.

The other one was 'Very lovely maidens have very useful S** equipment' for the frequency bands VLF, LF, MF, HF, VHF, UHF, SHF and EHF.

None of these tips are in the books. Are there any more out there or is that it?
