View Full Version : What's in the bag sir? Just an arsenal

Up to 10 firearms a day found in luggage...

Does it surprise me or not? On one hand, there are numerous "mass-shootings" in the US of A (access to guns etc.) while on the other we've had "tight" (not-necessarily enforced with common sense) security measures so it is common knowledge to not take your sawn-off shotgun or samurai sword as carry-on.

Surely this vindicates me from carrying on (wait for it)

2. Nail scissors (by mistake)

Apparently being stupid doesn’t prevent you from carrying.

Nuclear or conventional? Ah, very good sir.

People forget things are in their bag, because they have more important things to do than worry about what the latest security theatre might be. I've seen a number of posts online along the lines of 'yeah, I flew across America the other day, then, when I got to the other side, I opened my bag and realized I'd left my pistol in there'.

Seems to me the proper gun owner knows where his weapons are, and their condition, at all times.

Some of the Americans I know would be hard-pressed to even tell you how many guns they own.

Not a patch on Manchester UK. When security found a terrorist bomb (yes a real one) he was sent on his way and not arrested until three weeks and several flights later

Just arms? Chickens! What about half a ton of dope?
