Any ideas for cheaper internet ? ;-)
We have a GoGo service but what is anoying with G5000 that it continuosly sending data package with flight parameters to monitoring center . We don’t have this service subscribed but there is no way to switch it off because of system design , so any time sat phone is on ( we switched it off by CB when it is no needed ) system activates and sending data package every 3-5 minutes . The result is that during 6 hrs of flight data sent is worth circa 1500 USD .
Any other ideas for internet on board ? I wondering any other suppliers with no stuff required instalations , no STC etc. Just buy a „box” lie it down in cabin storage and have internet access available through wifi ? (This is a dream )
