The most disturbing statistics from this report are the decline in GA flying hours and this statement:

"A large decrease in aeroplane flying training in Australia has occurred in recent years, with 39 percent fewer hours flown in 2015 compared to a peak of 454,500 hours flown in 2009, the highest of any year since 1990."

With the increase in high capacity RPT and pilot demand how will this affect the standard of pilots at the lower end?
