View Full Version : Kneeboard in a 737

Hi guys, I've been flying the 737 for about a year now and I find it quite hard writing on paper in the flight deck. I've been considering using my knee-board which straps onto my leg. Is anyone else using it or have any other suggestions? My concern is the kneeboard might interfere with the control column.

Thanks

Don't try an Airbus unless you like short days to feel long, boring and tedious. Just get a clipboard :D

for F#$k sakes its not a friggin F18...isnt there a clip board near the window handle......or next time in SIN get the clear clip board that you can stick an A4 sheet into with your cheat notes. Only ever seen them in SIN though.

A folded newspaper works for me. Stiff enough to take writing yet flexible enough to get out of the way easily. An added bonus is that you can do the crossword/sudoku during the approach and pretend that you’re copying the latest ATIS.

Use clipboard.
Don't use kneeboard in 737. It looks ridiculous.
