Would anyone be so kind as to share insights on converting an FAA ATPL(H) to a New Zealand license as well as what opportunities might exist there for a 5000 hour pilot with significant time on B206, B407, B412, AS350, BO105, B412 and S76 ? Experience in oil and gas, HAA, tactical counter narcotics / police / jungle / mountain operations, etc.

Cheers ! :-)

I would be interested to hear the latest on the job market in New Zealand - we thought about a move there having fell in love with the place. New Plymouth where getting 139's and I met the Chief pilot for a coffee. The T&C's wheren't brilliant but what a place.

I have 9000 hours onshore and off - current Uk Coastgaurd S92 TRI/E. but over 40 so not sure what the visa requirements are like these days.
Cheers Chaps

I guess the radio silence means the market in NZ isn’t great just now. Maybe knock the dust of my fixed wing license if I can find it....
