MONARCH DOUBLES MANCHESTER CAPACITY
MONARCH Scheduled plans to more than double capacity from Manchester for next summer in a bid to compete with the low-cost carriers.
The airline plans to bring in extra aircraft - in addition to the Airbus A321 deliveries already announced this year - and significantly boost frequencies on daily Malaga and Alicante services and on its thrice-weekly Faro flights.
It is also looking to launch new routes, with most of the expansion in Spain.
It is also increasing services over this coming winter from Luton and Manchester.
