I wonder if the Franklin Mint won the competition to make them.

His slogan 'Make America Great Again'' is meaningless without defining what he means by 'Great'. Does he mean, America is the best country in which to live, the rest of the world respects America etc?
It is, to me, a very shallow slogan and sums up the man himself.

Better spoken than written: "President Trump? Grate, doesn't he?"

It looks like the inside of a Gypsy's caravan?

I have seen more elegant brothels.

How egotistical, he couldn't just put please do not put anything on the piano, except this frame, he had to make a point of its value.

NutLoose,

"I have seen more elegant brothels."

I'm guessing that was as part of your role as an official health and safety inspector right? :}

I think NL meant PICTURES OF <vbg>

Whose picture is that on the second image? Notice the boxer image on the table. I like the little Merc in the background.

Sorry I thought the thread title was a competition about Christmas decorations...

Looking at the pictures I am glad that Liberace's interior designer found continued employment, but how many other presidential candidates have you seen "at home" photos of? Or is this another "fake news story" intended to throw mud at the current incumbent......

Hempy, I didn't question whether this was truly the home of Donald Trump, if you want to prove something perhaps you could include the full question I raised which was "but how many other presidential candidates have you seen "at home" photos of?" Perhaps there are others who have their own unique choices of decor that we are not permitted to see, how do Bill and Hilary decorate their front room, anyone know?

Hence the "fake news" comment, where one interpretation is used to denigrate a party we want to have a go at while intentionally hiding the same circumstances for a party we want to show as being beyond reproach.

The ‘same circumstances’?? Honestly, who else do you know that would decorate their home like that?

FYI heres Barack and Michelle Obama’s house;

Obama Kalorama House - Photos Of The Obamas' New House In Washington, D.C. (http://www.townandcountrymag.com/leisure/real-estate/news/g2535/obama-new-house-photos/)

George and Laura Bush’s house;

https://www.businessinsider.com.au/go-inside-prairie-chapel-ranch-2014-7

Bill and Hillary Clintons house;

Inside Bill & Hillary Clinton's $1.7 Million Home In Chappaqua, New York (http://guestofaguest.com/new-york/real-estate/inside-bill-and-hillary-clintons-dollar17-million-home-in-chappaqua-new-york/all)

How far back would you like to go?

Trump’s interior decorating is gaudy, vulgar and crass. It’s not ‘fake news’, it’s not an unfair comparison to other presidents, and it’s not ‘denegration’, it’s just cold hard fact. If that offends your sensibilities then my only advice would be to avoid temperatures above zero degrees C, lest you might melt.

Did you miss the reference to Liberace?

I'm not a fan of the lifestyles of the rich and presidential, therefore I don't know how they choose to decorate. Thanks for the links but I don't think I'll get any tips from any of them.

I don't disagree that the decorating style in Trump towers is as you put it "gaudy, vulgar and crass" (nice turn of phrase, it speaks volumes...), but until that point there was nothing to compare it with.

And that was the point of the comment.

Aren’t the trump photos from the 80,s. .? Probably considered a tad low key for that decade

Why should any of the rest of us give a rat’s butt how he spends his interior decor money?

If he wants to pretend he lives in a French bordello, that is his right.

As huge quantities of building materials are amassed on the northern bank of the Rio Grnade, people are wondering why the only sign of a structure is strangely pyramid shaped.

It is, to me, a very shallow slogan and sums up the man himself.Delivered at various speeches in the context of industry and jobs having disappeared. It's quite simple really unless you are desperate to deliberately misunderstand.
