Dear Friends

Could you pls help me where i can find detailed information about EASA or CAA UK about B1 & B2 AML Holders privileges; I wish to know which Electrical and Avionics tasks the B1 AML can sign off and can't sign off.

I know that EASA had raised a NPA and also modified the basic regulations and issued more privileges to the B1 AML holders to carry out avionics tasks. But it looks that the B1 staff are incorrectly interpreted that regulation and now started performing and signing off all the B2 tasks.

We are in a business aviation MRO in the middle east and always find that the B1 AML Holders are signing off most of B2 tasks except ATA chap 34 and also performing all electrical and avionics troubleshooting. Either our planning or QA not fully aware about this regulation and not looking this issue seriously.

I wish to know how other MROs doing and have control on this, in the other part of the world.
