Interesting debate on the Forums.

A bizarre and confused response from the GC. Somebody certainly hit a nerve. This all smells wrong. The motion is either more can-kicking or an undefined, chaotic call to arms. I don't like either.

I'm voting "no" to send a message to the GC to communicate better and show me a plan. We need some leadership, not more corporate "yuck speak".

I see the Jellyfish wrote yesterday that, "Your efforts are not going unnoticed". Yep..the Company's just cut the Captains' pay by nearly 9% and yet they all showed up to work. I bet they noticed that and I bet they noticed the HKAOA's response... A motion that nobody understands.

If you want to make a statement, then change your vote to "no" before 1500hrs today. Send a message.

Ps. Vote "yes" to Motion 1 and 2 Please support each other......

Mr. Curtain,

Sorry, combination of small iPhone screen, dim hotel room and jet-lagged eyes. Better?

As for a grocers' apostrophe. Had to google that.... Didnt' see any in my post?

Speaking of Google, try googling Rudolf Hess, I think you might be related :suspect:

Is it possible to hold a no confidence vote and have an emergency election?

You guys must be suffering from amnesia.

I actually don’t think it’s that. It’s a spineless unwillingness to fight, even when the alternative is talks that are certain to fail. The sad part is that it IS a winnable fight if everyone was willing to pull the same side of the rope.

Good grief!! Your being overwhelmed by the enemy and your concern is the bugalar is off key. No wonder the CX pilots couldn’t organize a smoke it at a pot plant.

Back on topic.

I was picking through the GMA's latest missive and see that he is still talking about offering the much dis-credited RP07 as an olive branch and $5k in HKPA is being dangled.

Should the GMA reinstate RP07 and increase HKPA by a few thousand dollars, have the conditions been met to remove the Training Ban? Should Motion 3 pass, there is enough ambiguity in the words for the GC to say that the underlying issues which the Training Ban seeks to fix, have indeed been fixed. They could vote to end the Training Ban without a membership vote.

Would you all be happy with that. I wouldn't, RP07 sucks, HKPA would still be woeful, what about the ARAPA? What about pay?

Dangerous, dangerous stuff... vote carefully Ladies and Gents...
