My preferred format for saving web pages is MHTML. As Firefox doesn't allow that any more, I now have many pages saved as 'web page, complete' on drive C. Thus, for each page there's an HTML document and a folder of associated files.

Is there a way to batch convert these to MHTML files? I did try the html to mht converter from Sourceforge. It apparently installed OK, but does not appear on the Programs list in Windows 7.:ugh::ugh:

Is it this one?

https://sourceforge.net/projects/html2mht/

If so it's a standalone program and doesn't install as such - navigate to wherever you unzipped it and run it from there, presumably your downloads directory. If you can't find it search for "html to mhtml.exe"

If it is any help Internet Explorer supports saving as mhtml (File - Save As... and select mht)

le Pingouin: thanks for that. I hadn't realised it was a zipped folder.

For any future users: the executable is inside the 'release' folder.

PJD1: good call; I haven't used IE for a long while.
