What more can you say....! Our management may try and con the public (and HK Government) with desperate and panicked press releases about 'managed resignation and retirements' but the truth is simply this: the airline is losing pilots at such a rate that the operation is falling apart (almost 80 cancelled LAX sectors this month alone). They can spin it any way they want to. The facts dictate the truth of the matter. Most of the pilots in this company have woken up to the awareness that they had better get a place on a proper seniority list elsewhere while they have the chance, as this company is heading for the grave (or at least the graveyard of pilot careers). I give immense credit to the SCMP in publishing that cartoon. Truth in the face of CX press department lies. More to come. And to the public: be warned that the operation over the holidays will be seriously affected. Flu season IS going to be a b*tch.... :E
