Footage of a (relatively) controlled prang in Florida:

One could speculate on the cause, but additionally it interested me that (1) the Polis have cameras front and rear (2) Polis didn't do a handbrake turn around the traffic island to get back to the a/c :}

I think the police driver put himself across the carriageway to block it off from oncoming traffic.
BBC are reporting an aircraft crash has been caught on dashcam in Florida, USA. Nothing further yet. My guess is its a light aircraft - time will tell.

Video is now there, on BBC, looks like they came to a soft halt against trees at the roadside; no reported injuries.

Good to see the cockpit remained intact and nobody on the ground got hit.

The footage is actually from TWO different police vehicles which just happened to be near the scene.
