At least there won't be any overheating issues.

Let's not forget that Sputnik is essentially a Russian propaganda outlet. Not a surprise this article is as negative as possible.

I was amazed a few months back when an AR-15 owning, Republican voting friend of mine told me Sputnik was one of his favorite websites. I would have thought the name would have given it away. Maybe not.

So your saying the article is inaccurate?

I would suggest a large shovelful of salt.

Why go to Norway for trials? Isn't Canada cold enough, and more conveniently located?

I'd imagine because Norway has some F-35s whereas Canada does not.

gladrag. I was suggesting taking the article with a "pinch of salt". Sputnik is, I gather, renowned for putting its own spin on things, not necessarily to the benefit of the West.

"This is a planning blunder of epic proportions. Something is fundamentally wrong with "
long-term defense policy planning in Norway," Ståle Ulriksen of the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy told the Adresseavisen daily.

Adresseavisen--Russian by any chance ...

The article may not be inaccurate, but in this day and age, when many are decrying "fake news" we should be very careful to note the source of what we're reading.

Mr Putin has a very effective system in place that leverages the internet to weaken his perceived foes in the west and he will do anything he can to set us against each other and pull us apart. He's succeeding with Brexit and Trump's "presidency" and if we're not careful he'll succeed elsewhere - the UK, Spain, more of the EU, NATO if we're not extremely careful.

Hell, dude is even working on California's secession!
