Anyone know when the ban on Canadian pilots working in mainland China will end?

1. I heard it was only in one region (Southwest).
2. I heard it was all 'Foreign', and not Canuck specific.
3. I heard it was over.
4. I am hard of hearing ;)

Been getting a flurry of emails from recruiters saying that they are accepting Canadians once again. Drop an email to any one of them to get the latest.
If you hear something please do post and let us all know.

I was told by two agents that the ban is still in effect and has to do with the inability to get a background check. So the problem is with the passport and the inability to get a work visa. No issue with CAAC.

Some " Canadians" from sub continent with questionable hours " fake" are the problem

So much for the ban supposedly lifted. As for everything in China, clear as mud.
