How do I know if the plane had flying activity this year?
It's okay to buy a plane that hasn't flown in the last 12 months?
This case a 600 legacy

Hi Bizjetlover,

The simple answer is that you employ a professional firm to ascertain the status of the aircraft on your behalf. I'm pretty sure I know the identity of the aircraft you are referring to. PM me for more advice.

From the OP's previous posts it seems the aircraft is based in Dubai...

Oh my goodness. This chaps boss needs to spend some cash on a professional. Leave this to pilots, and it will cost money in the long run.

:ooh:...aircraft owner new chum! Welcome to the expensive world or rort and diddle..:)

Best place to start for information is the maintenance organisation you will be using for the aircraft type you might buy.

Truth be told, that's not the only thing one might conclude from the OP's previous activity.

Thank you all.. is it okay to buy the plane, which didn't fly in the current year? (It is going to the 12 year inspection right after buy )

This is going to be VERYYYYYY EXPENSIVE....... Do the 12 months prior buying, or a pre-buy inspection...

If its the N-registered one in Vietnam, don't touch it. It has lots of problems. It's been sitting most of a year.

The one in Ho Chi Minh has flown and had its checks done, yes it sits around doing not a lot but I’ve seen it having engine runs.

No matter where what how why, a proper pre purchase should negate any of the traps.

Good luck!
