In this case it's not just the lie / lay confusion, it's the odd grammar and word choice from the first line ("Fell off from a cabin door") to the last paragraph ("Do crosscheck")

And that's before we even get to the facts; the article states in more than one place that "the plane was ready to take off" when the photos seem to show it at the gate.

Because China Eastern Airlines have no door protection in place. Be it safety straps, nets or steps.

My old commercial airline simply did not permit any cabin door on an aircraft to be open without appropriate steps/ground equipment in place.

And, as for the beauty of cabin crew, I don't understand what you are trying to say in relation to this incident.

The question has to asked why was she opening the door in the first place ?

As Tray Surfer mentioned, the door should not be opened without any steps or ground equipment in place beforehand.

In my BOAC days it was normal practice to open doors before steps arrived. Also often opened doors and threw documents down to ground staff.

It was in the later Health & Safety era that this practice stopped.
