Where to stay in Florida

Thinking of hour building in Florida, end of Dec begining of Jan, not decided where but possibly Comair. Would welcome advice on where to stay.

Florida is full of cheap motels, I usually stay in a Days Inn, ok it's in the ghetto with gun shots and screaming to be heard in the didtance, but it's nice and cheap!
What town are you staying in? ;)
