Hi,

If anyone has any experience or thoughts with FTE Jerez's FlightDeck+ program or with FTA's combined CPL MEIR package, then could you help me out?

I'm interested in FTE's program because of the strong job prospects afterwards as they are part of the Big 3. I'm not too sure about FTA'S product but it is cheaper.

Dude, your about 18 months away from going to either FTEJerez or Flying Time.
I think htis is the 2nd time I've read that... what exactly do you mean by "18 months away"? Could he not apply tomorrow and be there by next month? Or are you referring to the waiting time to get a spot in the school?

I am currently taking part to the fte modular course, including mcc/joc. The course is really intense but the instructors are really good, experienced and professional. At the moment we are 8 modular cadets and we have 4 dedicated instructors. I feel that our training standard is even better than the integrated guys.
I don't know if the standard is going to be the same in the future. The only problem is the management and their decision to push a little to much with the number of students per course, I hope that they are going to keep focusing on the training standard and not only the economical aspect.

Thanks abba95 for your feedback on FTE flightdeck+

Just for information, from which country are the 8 modular students ?
And have you choose the full accommodation option ?

I'm currently in FTA taking CPL MEIR and I'm currently in the flying phase and so far, the course is pretty challenging for me. The ground instructors and the flying instructors were very professional, knowledgeable but not too strict which is good. As for the training standards, the school will train us exactly the same as how they train the Cathay Pacific cadets.
CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) is really strict regarding safety which is why Qantas is the world's safest airline and the school uses the same standard that CASA set which I think is great.

I am from italy, then there is a belgian guy, five french and one spanish. 6 of us are staying on site, two are living in town. Living on site is good, the canteen is not the best but you are 100 meters from the apron, so really comfortable when flying.
