The Winter Hill Air Disaster (http://www.patricktaylor.com/winter-hill-air-disaster)

UK Bristol Freighter in 1958 flies into a hill in IMC due poor airmanship, killing all aboard. Cause of the accident was primarily the failure of the captain to double check his co-pilot's selection of an NDB. Moral: never completely trust the other pilot in a multi-engine aircraft when in IMC or at night. Always quietly double check vital switch selections made by the PM

Morale

Methinks you mean Moral, yes?:confused::D

Agree with the sentiments of the post of course.:ok:

On one occasion langtaimbak, as PM (hate these newfangled terms:*...I was the FO!:=) I managed to quietly correct the PIC of a small error.:hmm:

Would not have caused any major problems, just a slight embarrassment!:O

Always check the others instrument selection prior to commencing an approach, always been my idea. although this seemed to be an enroute stuff up. good stuff mate keep it up
