G-BZAD just positioned BHX-NQY

That makes 4 that I know of in storage at NQY

Salty air and aluminium don't make a great combination.

Doubt very much they are in for long term storage. Could well be for attention at Apple before onward to whoever ends up leading them.

Either way it's not like this is the first time aircraft have been stored at NQY

NQY is at 390ft AMSL and winter is looming, the salty air won't even be able to find the A/C with the cloud pretty much on the surface!

Flybe had problems with the electrics in the 195's after a brief spell in storage a few years ago at NQY!

It wasn't just the electrics.

So a good place for them to base aircraft then?

Brymon had an HPR7 based at NQY for year after year without problem.

The Brymon fuel bowsers 'Sweaty Betty' and 'Fat Ann' were a different matter though, there's something unique about lighting a fire beneath a bowser full of fuel to thaw out the diesel in the tank :)

As suspected. The A321s are with Apple for care and maintenance on behalf of the leading company.

Flybe summer18 schedules currently being loaded.

Looks like nothing new but some reductions to STN, MAN and BHX so far .....
