Air France plane engine fails over Atlantic - BBC News (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-41454712)
From BBC news feed today. Quite alarming for passengers, but luckily landed safely in Goose Bay

Air France passengers describe mid-air terror as engine disintegrates over Atlantic (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/09/30/passengers-describe-seeing-fireball-engine-air-france-flight/)
Telegraph article with videos and comment - Interesting comment re. Rolls Royce engines (as Qantas engine fan blade failure) Lazy Reporting? Air France surely has Engine Alliance fitted to their A380s
