Does anybody know if there is a 222(Natal) Sqn Association? I've trawled the net with no luck. I'm trying to find out what happened to all the old Sqn photos/diaries or maybe if someone is still around. My wife's uncle flew Spitfire Vs and Tempests with them in '44 & '45.

There was an association, but it may have closed down. The squadron's Operations Record Books will be in the National Archives at Kew, and the RAF Museum archives hold a series of manuscript diaries (including some photos) compiled between 1940 and the 1950s.

As a general rule, units' photo collections rarely survive disbandment.
