This is truly a shame in every way and I'm not sure that I have ever heard of this happening (2 in such short order) previously. I hope that someone is seriously looking closely into this situation as to the cause.. For me, something smells.
Does anybody know if they were in the training system for a specific airline?

2 different flying schools in 2 different areas of the country, I think it is just an unfortunate coincidence. I believe both private students and not attributed to an airline
