Looks nice, but slinging a 2 ton special effects truss over populated areas seems not to be the smartest thing to do.

I don't think being hit by a fallen meteor is possible as a meteorite has already fallen. :8

Article says along Hudson river so in unlikely event they needed to jettison the "load" the FAA stipulated as long they didn't hit Sully's plane, they were happy. ;)

It was picked up from a dock and remained over water the whole time.

Dollars to donuts it was never over Manhattan. Come to think of it, I don't know of any longline work done over Manhattan in recent memory.
