I will attend the screening at the end of November . Anyone has any idea about the simulator scenario?

I recently asked to see there conditions of service in full, and the clowns said that these would only be disclosed during the interview with the chief pilot in Barcelona (is that still Spain?). Needless to say, after hearing rumors of the lowest of the lowest CoS in the industry, I said no thx to travel, at my own expense, to Baaarrrrceluna.

Dear everyone first of all i would like to thank you even that you enter to see my topic.
So lets get into it,after i apply to Volotea Airlines(for the positions F/O A319/20) they ask me to go for an interview at December, the thing is that i need someone that have experience with that company about the following.
 A psychometric test
 A theory test, technical knowledge
 SIM/VPT (TBC)
A PM or a reply to this topic with the things that could help me will be much appreciate.
If someone is already in the company and could share his experience it will be also much helpful. :)
Thank you everyone for your time.

Yeager, you are 100 % right. These clowns at recruitment don't show you the conditions? That means they are so low! And I have a friend there, a Captain: he says he wants to leave...So it must not be good at all!

I was called for interview in january 2017....when I asked about T&C never got any answer from the recuitement team. 😃
As I remember there was a kind of bonding/reimbursement of the B717 TR that is pretty useless outside Volotea.

Any idea when they plan on moving to an all Airbus fleet? Volotea seem to have stopped getting rid of their 717's and are expanding instead?

Thanks

I’m applying to Airbus positions
Is there any ATPL questions or just about Airbus ?
During interview with chief pilot, will he also ask for technical questions ?

Pilotmed
19th Jan 2018, 17:28
Rated or not rated ?
Expect some aircraft questions if you are rated. During the interview with chief pilot, he may will ask you some ATPL and aircraft questions.

A319 DE CPT depends on the entry level. Don’t dream to fly more than 80 in August, less the other months.

I don’t know but if they are searching for pilots they will make assessments obviously.

Hi,
it should be as per below :
- psychometric test (basic question of personality)
- A320 knowledge test (you can find questions database on www.smartcockpit.com)
- HR interview with standard questions like (tell me about you, strength, fails, describe you in 3 words etc etc)
- Chief Pilot interview (with some CRM questions like how would you react in a particular situation with a rude captain, review your minima and limitations)
- sim on fixed base simulator, flying skill difficult to assess as the FBS is a **** but know by heart your procedures, memory items

good luck

How much does a captain make monthly? (320/717)
Quite different figures have been mentioned above….

AirInter
17th Dec 2018, 11:46
Hi,

Basic salary 3600€ + 90€ per block hour above 40h + 50€ per Diem.
Salary is the same for both fleets. It increases every 2 years.
Those values are gross.
First type rating in the airline is charged, you will be discounted 7500€ on your salary.
First contract is for 8 months.

eiffel
18th Dec 2018, 08:24
So for let’s say 70h / 20 days 3600+30x90+50x20=7300€ before tax ?

AirInter
18th Dec 2018, 19:33
I think that during winter it is less and summer months more than that. Yearly average would be 6500 gross/month. But maybe someone from inside can give us a better view. I do not work there.

hi again,

do you remember what kind of exercises they do on Sim ? I didn´t receive any information about the day, just very little information !! :

thank you

AirInter
7th Jan 2019, 12:46
For NTR pilots, it was really straightforward. 2 ILS app under VMC conditions. The first one is followed by a GA. And both of them were All Eng operating.

Good luck.

Hi, my asessment : fix base sim A319 with the chief pilot ( very friendly) a little crew coordination , standard callouts, no emergency procedure, cross wind component,
go-around, visual, land. ( no autopilot ).

Test with 20 technical questions : aerodinamic, speeds , runways, atpl questions generally , no specific on Airbus or Boeing.

Ahahahahah... lot of selfies.I personally would not get even close to this and other clownish airlines polluting the skies of Europe and socially dumping this profession by mean of employment of professional selfie takers and GoPro operators..and this even less as a passenger.

Do you mind if I ask you some information about Volotea interview?
technical exam and interview question ?
I am rated on a320
thank you very much

obelix360
13th Feb 2019, 19:58
Hi
Two questionnaire psychological tests. One at about 130 questions and the other about 170 questions. Nothing special.
If you are rated, one multiple choice questionnaire with 20 A320 questions. Question bank you may find on net. Questions are exactly the same!
Interview with HR and Chief pilot. Very easy and comfortable. No tech questions from Chief.
Thenafter the same day sim assessment. Engine failure after V1 or during cruise, ILS Raw Data, etc. They only need to see crm, call outs, normal job.
Expect call for job during next days. If not a call an email after a week explains you that they will call you in near future, etc...Probably failed.

P.S. Finally it was better for me. After a month i found better job, in a big and stable company, with better conditions and of course salary!
