Two Merlin's/101's with Ramps have just landed at NWI. At the range I'm at and, with only small Bino's, I cant see any Roundels on them.

Does anybody know where they're from/going?

Quite possibly/probably engaged in the large UK-wide Exercise Chameleon.

RAF Valley is hosting two Merlin helicopters from the Royal Danish Air Force. The aircraft, from 722 Squadron based at Karup, Denmark, are at Valley to practice daytime mountain flying in an unfamiliar environment. RAF Valley, like many RAF bases, regularly hosts other UK and NATO military forces to help test their skills away from home turf. Our own IV(R) Squadron exercises at NATO bases abroad for exactly the same reason. Danish forces regularly served alongside the UK military in Afghanistan, forging close links and earning a well deserved reputation for bravery, skill and professionalism.
