Beautiful to watch in action.

I remember seeing the Oman Police PC-6 landing at Salalah in the Oman many moons ago (on the old, now long gone runway). Tower cleared him to land and taxi to the ramp where we parked the fixed wing visitors.

He landed on the markers at the end of the runway and immediately turned off onto the first exit to the ramp. Tower became concerned as he had suddenly disappeared from their view and could not been seen on the runway where they thought any normal well-behaved airplane would be...!

Amazing to watch as those runway markers are only tens of feet long.

Displaying at Farnborough, it used to take off and land in the length of the runway threshold markings.

I failed to catch that info.
Is there anything comparable in the market being produced?
Although much it is definitely needed in many places....
